This Privacy Policy explains how Q-Saver: Quora Post Saver & Exporter ("the Extension") handles your data.
1. Information We Collect
- User Content: We collect the Quora post title, author, URL, and text content only when you explicitly click the "Save" button.
- Account Data: We collect your email address via Supabase for account synchronization and authentication.
- Metadata: We store tags and timestamps associated with your saved posts.
2. Permissions & Usage
- activeTab: Used to read the content of the specific Quora page you are saving.
- storage: Used to securely store your authentication tokens locally.
- Host Permissions: Used to inject the save interface into Quora.com.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to provide cloud synchronization:
- Supabase: For secure user authentication.
- Vercel: For API processing and database storage.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You can delete individual posts through the extension dashboard. To request full account deletion, please contact us at the email below.
5. Security
We do not sell your data. All data transmission between the Extension and our servers is encrypted via industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
